Youth Programs
(Ages 10+)
This experiential program with horses is designed to support the development goals of your school, association or youth group.
The youth will work with the horses and their teammates to achieve their goals, which we then link to their own experiences at school, home and in the community.
Non-verbal communication, assertiveness, creative thinking, leadership, responsibility, confidence and teamwork are several examples of the skills the youth will develop.
Family Workshops
Are you ready to have some fun with your family?
HorseWorks will customize a unique experience for your family, using selected exercises that will help you improve communication, and give each member of your family the opportunity to experience leadership and team-building skills.
Leadership & Team Building
Our workshops are designed to be client centered. Your group or team may have a goal of building relationships, increasing the effectiveness of your communication, or developing leadership skills. Whatever your focus, HorseWorks will work closely with you to custom build a program which will address the specific needs of the group, creating a fun and interactive experience that will be remembered long after you leave the arena.
All programs include:
- Professionally facilitated sessions focused on skills development, using the proven Cartier Building Block approach
- Certified EAL Instructors
- Use of horses and relevant equipment
The Youth Leadership program can be formatted to suit your schedule and budget.

Ladies Night
Women and horses…. Something special happens between women and horses!
HorseWorks offers a unique girl’s night – an opportunity to play with horses!
You will have fun and laugh, develop a self-awareness that only horses can teach, and even learn some new communication skills.
Make it a monthly thing with your besties, and we will learn something new each time!
Couples Night
How about a unique horse experience for your next date night?
The horses will teach us in a very fun way to improve communication and build trust.
